FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about Web3 Development
We don't have much Web3 experience—can we still commission development?

Yes.
We explain Web3 fundamentals as needed, interview your goals carefully, and help turn ideas into a concrete plan.
Unusual or unconventional ideas are welcome—there is no single "right answer," and we work with that reality.
We can support you from the planning stage, and consultation-only inquiries are fine—please reach out anytime.

What kinds of Web3 development do you support?

We support a wide range of Web3 initiatives using blockchain technology—including NFTs, DeFi, DAOs, metaverse-related experiences, and more.

Can you develop smart contracts?

Yes.
We develop smart contracts using languages suited to your chain and requirements—such as Solidity, Vyper, and Rust.

We want to issue a token—can you support us?

Yes.
We support token issuance end to end—from planning and design through development and deployment.

However, token issuance involves legal and regulatory considerations and security risk. Depending on jurisdiction and timing, we may not be able to meet every request.

In particular, we may decline issuance in cases such as the following:

◆ Regulatory changes
Laws and regulations related to tokens can change by country, region, and time. If changes make issuance impractical or impossible, we may decline the engagement.

◆ Elevated security risk
New risks can emerge as security technology evolves. If we cannot sufficiently mitigate risk and cannot ensure user safety, we may decline issuance.

◆ Compliance requirements
To mitigate risks such as money laundering and terrorist financing, cooperation with KYC (identity verification), AML (anti–money laundering), and related compliance measures may be required. If cooperation is not possible, we may decline the engagement.

◆ Other cases
We may also decline if we determine that token issuance is not appropriate for any other reason.

If you are considering token issuance, please contact us first.
We work with legal counsel and other specialists to carefully review regulatory and security aspects while supporting your project.

How long does development typically take?

The following are rough delivery guides by project type and scale (actual timelines vary with chain selection, audits, legal review, wallet UX, and off-chain integration readiness). Each range generally includes testnet validation through mainnet deployment and initial go-live.

◆ Smart contract only (standard tokens such as ERC-20/721, no frontend, testnet through deploy)
Approximately 1.5–4 weeks

◆ Lightweight wallet-connected DApp (1–2 screens, mostly read/sign against existing contracts)
Approximately 2–5 weeks

◆ NFT collection + mint site (metadata, allowlist, reveal, etc. within a typical scope)
Approximately 3–6 weeks

◆ Token issuance (planning through deploy; highly variable with KYC/AML and legal review)
Approximately 1–3 months (external audit timelines are separate)

◆ Web3 frontend + off-chain stack (wallet auth, DB/API/indexer integrations, roughly 1–2 systems)
Approximately 1.5–2.5 months

◆ Standard DApp (multiple contracts, several main screens, roughly one external API/oracle integration)
Approximately 1.5–3 months

◆ DeFi / staking (pool design, reward logic, testnet through production; audits and bug bounties separate)
Approximately 2–4 months

◆ DAO / governance (proposals, voting, token linkage, timelocks, etc. in a standard setup)
Approximately 2–4.5 months

◆ Multi-chain (same product on 2+ chains; cross-chain bridges not included)
Add approximately +1–2 months to the ranges above

◆ Mid-scale with multiple contracts, access separation, upgrades (proxies, etc.)
Approximately 3–5.5 months

◆ Large-scale (many contracts, legacy/system integration, phased mainnet migration, 24/7 operations, etc.)
Approximately 6–12 months (some projects exceed one year)

Where requirements allow, AI-assisted design, implementation, and testing may shorten timelines above. We decide based on quality, security, and maintainability.

Estimates include a concrete schedule tailored to your project.

Can we change specifications during development?

Yes.
We can accommodate specification changes flexibly during development.
Depending on the change, additional fees or schedule adjustments may be required. Thank you for your understanding.

Our product or smart contracts are mid-flight—can we still consult or hire you?

Yes.
We can help mid-stream—from design and implementation through handoffs from other teams, and changes before mainnet launch.
For work focused on strengthening in-flight products, incident response, and operational migration, we also offer In-Progress Product Support. See the overview and FAQs here. Please share your current situation.

What happens if bugs or incidents occur after delivery?

For a defined period after delivery, we provide free support for bug fixes and minor adjustments. For smart contracts and production incidents, we help with triage, temporary mitigation, and permanent fixes as needed.
Paid maintenance contracts are also available on request.

How do you approach security?

For contracts, we combine testing, static analysis, and external audits as requirements demand. Private keys and seeds are handled with secure storage assumptions, and production keys are designed with least privilege.
For wallet-connected frontends, we focus on clear signing prompts, phishing mitigations, and redundant RPC configuration where users are most likely to misunderstand risk.
We can also advise on gas optimization and upgrade patterns (e.g. proxy approaches), balancing risk and operational cost.

Can you help with wallet connection, gas, and RPC setup?

Yes.
We design and implement connection flows using browser extensions such as MetaMask, WalletConnect, and mobile SDKs—including chain switching and UI patterns that reduce accidental wrong-network connections.
We also help decide who pays gas (users, relayers, paymasters, etc.) and how to select stable RPC endpoints with sensible fallbacks, based on requirements and cost.

We're another studio or freelancer—can we subcontract Web3 development to you?

Yes.
We welcome subcontracting from other companies and individuals.
Our engineers have deep experience with blockchain technology.
Please contact us if you need extra capacity or specialized expertise.

What information helps if we subcontract?

The following helps us move faster (missing pieces at inquiry time are okay):

◆ Project overview — goals, target users, key features

◆ Blockchain platform — Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, etc.

◆ Languages and frameworks in use

◆ Design/spec documents (if any)

◆ Desired timeline

◆ Budget range

If anything above is unclear, contact us anyway—we will work it out together.

What contract types do you offer?

We support contract structures such as fixed-price and quasi-delegation agreements, tailored to your needs.

Do you require an upfront deposit (down payment)?
What is the payment schedule?

We do not require an upfront deposit.
In most cases, the payment due date is set approximately one month after delivery and acceptance (completion of inspection).
Depending on the project scope, we may also set payment timings using a milestone approach.
We are flexible and open to discussing payment terms.

Can I pay for development services using cryptocurrency?
